Abstract

The report explores the challenges of cybersecurity in the growing trend of "bring your own device" and the need for a policy for it. This policy is related to reducing the risk of using personal devices, such as smartphones, tablets and laptops when accessing, receiving or using data in the UNWE network. This is a complex area due to the presence of multiple users with different devices. The main problems are the increase in cyberattacks, data protection, access control and management of mobile devices. The purpose of the report is to provide guidelines for the implementation of a policy and procedure for the use of personal devices at UNWE, which will help preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the university's formation assets.
