Abstract

The publication aims to analyze the role of international organizations in promoting the digital transformation of healthcare. Through the development of strategic documents, the World Bank, the European Commission, the World Health Organization, etc. create frameworks for action that support countries in implementing digital health solutions. On the other hand, international indexes for assessing digitalization in the health sector are a key tool that allows countries to identify their weaknesses and to outline specific areas for improvement. Through derived strategies, in-depth analyses, a variety of tools, mechanisms and good practices, international organizations play a key role in accelerating the digital transformation of healthcare systems worldwide.
