Property Restitution In Romania

Abstract

The property right is one of the most important right of a person in modern societies. Most of the national legislations consists of complex provision in what comes to protect this right. Due to the legislation lacks or misinterpretations, Romania has become a subject of criticism regarding property right, more specific regarding the properties that were abusively taken by the state during the communist regime.
