Interaktionsarbeit als wichtige Arbeitstätigkeit im Dienstleistungssektor

Abstract

Der Beitrag geht davon aus, dass die Arbeit mit Kunden und Klienten ein wesentlicher Bestandteil von Dienstleistungen ist. Er findet sich bei nahezu sämtlichen Dienstleistungen und somit sowohl bei sachbezogenen als auch personenbezogenen Dienstleistungen. In dem Beitrag wird gezeigt, dass die Arbeit mit Kunden und Klienten Besonderheiten ausweist, die bei sonstiger Arbeit nicht in gleicher Weise gegeben sind: der notwendige Abgleich unterschiedlicher Interessen in der Dienstleistungsbeziehung, der Umgang mit eigenen Gefühlen und die Beeinflussung der Gefühle anderer sowie die Bewältigung (struktureller) Unbestimmtheiten und Unwägbarkeiten im Inhalt und Verlauf der Dienstleistung. In der neueren Arbeitsforschung richten sich auf diese Besonderheiten unterschiedliche Forschungsansätze, die mit dem Konzept der Interaktionsarbeit integriert werden. Der Beitrag legt dies näher dar und umreißt hieraus resultierende Konsequenzen für die Arbeitsgestaltung.
