"No Representation without Taxation" – WSI-Verteilungsbericht 2011

Abstract

Der WSI-Verteilungsbericht 2011 gibt einen Überblick über aktuelle Daten zur gesamtwirtschaftlichen und personellen Einkommensverteilung. Diese bestätigen den bekannten Trend einer wachsenden und zugleich verfestigten Ungleichheit. Zumindest auf ökonomischer Ebene aber sind die Nachteile von nationaler Ungleichheit zugleich mit internationalen Ungleichheiten verknüpft, die letztlich auch zur jüngsten Wirtschaft- und Finanzkrise geführt haben – und jetzt sogar das „Projekt Europa“ bedrohen. Dass die Politik diesen Zusammenhang nicht erkennt und die Verteilung nicht korrigiert, wird im Beitrag kritisch betrachtet.
