'Besser statt billiger' im Betrieb

Abstract

Der "Besser-statt-billiger"-Ansatz der IG Metall Nordrhein-Westfalen versteht sich als Konzept, Zukunft im Betrieb aktiv zu gestalten und sich für nachhaltig Beschäftigung sichernde Unternehmens- und Innovationspolitik einzusetzen. Die IG Metall setzt damit auf Konzepte für dauerhaft sichere Arbeitsplätze und Einkommen: Beschäftigungssicherung, Qualifizierung und eine nachhaltige Zukunftsstrategie im Unternehmen erfordern oftmals eigene Lösungsansätze und Forderungen. Solche "Besser"-Lösungen werden zusammen mit den Mitgliedern entwickelt und betriebspolitisch gestaltet, um sie Kostensenkungsstrategien zulasten der Arbeitnehmer entgegenzustellen. Die IG Metall unterstützt Betriebsräte dabei. Gemeinsam mit Beratungsprofis und Wissenschaftlern werden Strategien und Lösungen entwickelt und die betriebliche Durchsetzungsfähigkeit gestärkt. Der Beitrag liefert einen Einblick in die vielfältigen Unterstützungsangebote und in die Praxis.
