Vom regulierten Kapitalismus zur Instabilität

Abstract

Der Beitrag vertritt die These, dass nicht die Tiefen kapitalistischer Gesetzmäßigkeiten die aktuelle weltweite Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise verursacht haben, sondern politische Fehlsteuerungen, die bereits in den 1970er Jahren begannen. Es wird aufgezeigt, wie der in den 1950er und 1960er Jahren etablierte Typus eines regulierten Kapitalismus, ausgehend von Destabilisierungsprozessen in Großbritannien und den USA, zerbrach und sukzessive in ein neoliberales Globalisierungsprojekt einmündete. Die Analyse dieses Prozesses bildet die Grundlage, um Ansatzpunkte und Handlungsanforderungen für die (Wieder)Erschaffung eines "guten" Kapitalismus zu entwerfen.
