Der unglückliche Erfolgsfaktor - beschleunigt, aktiviert, aber nicht zukunftsfähig

Abstract

Im Restrukturierungs- und Konsolidierungsprozess der ostdeutschen Wirtschaft gelten das hohe Qualifikationsniveau von Industriebeschäftigten sowie die Mobilisierung und Aktivierung von "Facharbeitertugenden" als zentrale Ressourcen und Erfolgsfaktoren. Doch während die Spezifik der Nachwendeerfahrung die Facharbeiter in ihren hohen Erwartungen an arbeitsinhaltliche Ansprüche an Arbeit und Entscheidungspartizipation bestärkte, fühlen sie sich inzwischen mehr und mehr "anerkennungspolitisch" ausgebremst. Der Beitrag vertritt die These, dass die Erfahrung defizitärer Führungskulturen und der Verlust der Wertschätzung bei Industriearbeitern ein "unglückliches Bewusstsein" erzeugen, das mittelfristig auf eine Erosion der motivationalen Basis des Erfolg versprechenden Produktionstyps der flexiblen Qualitätsproduktion hinauslaufen könnte. Die Argumentation fußt auf Daten aus mehreren Erhebungen des Jenaer Instituts für Soziologie, die sich den Arbeitserfahrungen und dem Arbeitsbewusstsein bei Arbeitern und Angestellten in der ostdeutschen Industrie beschäftigt haben.
