Europäischer Tarifbericht des WSI 2007/2008

Abstract

Der aktuelle Europäische Tarifbericht des WSI gibt einen Überblick über die tarifpolitische Entwicklung in der Europäischen Union in den Jahren 2007 und 2008. Analysiert werden die Entwicklung der Nominal- und Reallöhne, die Ausschöpfung der nationalen Verteilungsspielräume, die Entwicklung der gesetzlichen Mindestlöhne sowie tarifvertragliche und effektive Arbeitszeiten in den 27 EU-Staaten. Die Entwicklung der Löhne hat in den letzten Jahren in Europa deutlich an Dynamik gewonnen. Dies ist eine Reaktion auf den ökonomischen Aufschwung und die gestiegene Preisentwicklung. Die Befürchtung einer Lohn-Preis-Spirale bleibt jedoch unbegründet. Vielmehr steigt die Bedeutung der Lohnpolitik, um die sich eintrübende Konjunkturentwicklung zu stabilisieren.
