Die WSI-Betriebsrätebefragung 2007 - Methoden und ausgewählte Ergebnisse

Abstract

Der Beitrag fasst die wichtigsten methodischen Aspekte und inhaltlichen Ergebnisse der WSI-Betriebsrätefragung von 2007 zusammen. Sie wurde nach zwei Jahren erneut bei 2.070 Betriebsräten in allen privatwirtschaftlichen Bereichen Deutschlands durchgeführt und erfasst wie bisher hoch gerechnet zwölf Millionen Arbeitnehmer und deren Interessenvertretungen in Betrieben ab 20 Beschäftigte. Die Befragungsinhalte sind im Wesentlichen betriebliche Problemlagen, die Lösungsarbeit der Betriebsräte sowie ihr Verhältnis zu Arbeitgeber, Belegschaft, Gewerkschaft. Der Beitrag arbeitet als zentrales Ergebnis heraus, dass viele Problemlagen trotz konjunkturellem Aufschwung seit 2005 nicht geringer geworden sind: Der Umgang mit Personalabbau steht ganz oben auf der Prioritätenliste, Veränderung der Arbeitsorganisation, Leistungsdruck und Arbeitszeitgestaltung sind weitere sehr prominente Felder betriebsrätlicher Aktivität.
