Abstract

Der diesjährige WSI-Verteilungsbericht referiert wieder aktuelle empirische Daten zur gesamtwirtschaftlichen Einkommensentwicklung, insbesondere zu Löhnen und Gewinnen, wie zu personeller Verteilung bei privaten Haushalten. Danach setzt sich trotz konjunkturellem Aufschwung in Deutschland die seit Langem beobachtbare Zunahme von Ungleichheit, Armut und sozialem Ausschluss fort. Gefördert wird diese Entwicklung nicht zuletzt von der Fiskalpolitik, die erneut niedrige Einkommen belastet hat und hohe Einkommen entlasten will. Auch die staatliche Politik trägt damit Verantwortung, dass wegen nach wie vor unzureichender Binnennachfrage der weltmarktabhängige Aufschwung nicht zu einem höheren und vor allem stabileren Wachstum führt.
