Abstract

The connection between the organizational culture of nursing homes and opening to the local quarter was analysed. The multi-perspective approach of Martin (1992) was used. She differentiates between the integration-, differentiation- and fragmentation-perspective. The question was: How can the organisational culture be described applying the three perspectives of Martin (1992), and are there associations according to the opening to the local quarter? For this article, one facility of older persons and inclusion assistance was chosen. To collect data tools observations, expert interviews and group discussions were used. Different actors in the facility were interviewed. The data were analysed by applying the Qualitative Content Analysis of Mayring (2015). There was evidence for the existence of a differentiation-perspective.
