Flexible Führung und Integrität. Was können wir von der ACT lernen?

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) - an evidence-based behavioural therapy model which has grown in popularity in recent years - is set in a coaching context in order to show how inflexible, dysfunctional leadership problems relating to CSR and integrity can be dealt with favourably. We demonstrate how psychological flexibility can be acquired and subsequently brought to bear in establishing and maintaining an advantageous CSR system. Some concrete interventions are illustrated to show how to handle specific aspects that need to be taken into account in ACT coaching. Technical and personal requirements that an ACT coach should fulfil are also discussed. The benefits of this coaching concept are not limited to CSR applications alone but can also be applied to leading innovation or change-management processes. It is also helpful in making leadership generally more flexible and in effecting cost-savings in the case of reduced labour productivity owing to psychological stress.
