Gobierno municipal y gestión de la ciudad: una propuesta de líneas estratégicas

Abstract

El presente trabajo analiza las posibilidades estratégicas de los Municipios de la Provincia de Buenos Aires para mejorar el nivel de los resultados de su gestión. En la primera parte revisa el papel del Municipio en la gestión de la ciudad y los antecedentes que, en materia de planificación estratégica, se están llevando a cabo en algunas ciudades argentinas. En la segunda, entra en el foco central del tema abordado a través del análisis de la Misión del Municipio y de las características del ambiente interno y externo-fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas- que en forma general se le presentan hoy a las Comunas de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, para concluir finalmente con el estudio de algunas estrategias factibles de concretar el propósito de mejorar la capacidad de gobierno.
