Estructura de financiamiento municipal y desarrollo de mercado de capitales

Abstract

En este trabajo se ha procurado analizar las decisiones en materia de uso del crédito de mediano y largo plazo por parte de los municipios bonaerenses. Se destacaron tres causales: desahorro corriente, inversión pública en infraestructura y refinanciación y cambio del perfil temporal de los pasivos municipales. Desde un punto de vista empírico se observa una correspondencia de los resultados con la expectativa teórica en torno al comportamiento de las variables. Se destaca que existen notas comunes entre los municipios en materia de estrategia de endeudamiento de mediano y largo plazo.
