Un nuevo fin para las empresas

Abstract

Hoy en día las personas pasan cada vez más tiempo en organizaciones: trabajo, escuela, clubes, etc. El lugar de trabajo (en el cual transcurre prácticamente un tercio de la vida activa de cada individuo) se transforma así en una parte integral del desarrollo humano. Por otro lado las empresas, presionadas por los nuevos cambios en los ambientes económico y tecnológico, son inducidas a desarrollar comportamientos diferentes de los que tanto éxito les dieron en el pasado, comportamientos que se crean a partir del desarrollo de conductas y aptitudes específicas en las personas que allí trabajan. Estos dos hechos se conjugan obligando alas empresas a participar activamente del desarrollo humano de sus empleados para lograr el éxito económico en los nuevos escenarios. Esta presión económica dará lugar a una presión social que institucionalizará el nuevo fin de las empresas.
