La industria textil marplatense ante la globalidad y el cambio

Abstract

La decadencia de Mar del Plata como ciudad turística es comparable a la de su industria textil lo cual, si se quiere, puede ser considerado lógico por formar parte ambas de un mismo sistema ecológico. Todo sistema ecológico envejece y al fosilizarse no halla las nuevas y apropiadas respuestas al desafío ambiental, con mayor razón cuando las transformaciones alcanzan un dinamismo y una impredictibilidad insospechadas. El diagnóstico de la ITM y las causas generadoras del estado actual de las cosas, deben constituir el punto de partida para un replanteo de la situación. El enfoque estratégico debe actuar y el entorno futuro en términos de producto-mercado. Esta es la intención del presente trabajo.
