Abstract

El análisis del Sistema Monetario Europeo (SME) y los factores que determinaron la elección del mismo por parte de la Comunidad Europea son el objetivo central del presente trabajo. También se definen y analizan las distintas instituciones monetarias que se sitúan en el proceso de Integración Europea. Teniendo en cuenta la trascendencia del crecimiento del hombre y la comunidad, en el continente que sea, se comprende la importancia de un medio que lo favorezca, como es la Unión Monetaria que ha concretado la Europa Integrada.
