La Universidad argentina. ¿Una institución en crisis?

Abstract

El trabajo procura explorar, desde la óptica de la problemática organizacional, la realidad actual de la Universidad Argentina y sus posibilidades para hacer frente a las demandas sociales que se le plantean. Para ello intenta caracterizar cuáles son estas demandas, apoyándose en un análisis histórico de institución, para luego realizar una descripción genérica que intenta reflejar las características organizacionales de la Universidad contemporánea vista desde las múltiples perspectivas que la involucran: su dimensión política, burocrática, escolar y empresarial. Continúa luego con un análisis del contexto argentino en que desarrolla su acción nuestra universidad, destacando aquellos aspectos que resultarían disfuncionales al cumplimiento de su función. Finalmente realiza el abordaje de las particularidades de la institución en sí misma en nuestro medio, analizando sus características estructurales y funcionales y exponiendo críticamente las razones por las que las mismas enervan el cumplimiento de su rol social.
