El impacto de las TIC sobre las estructuras organizacionales y el trabajo del hombre en las empresas

Abstract

Las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación representan en este siglo el vector impulsor de profundos y estructurales cambios en los hombres y en las sociedades. Y, dentro de éstas, las empresas no solo son las que más intensivamente hacen uso de aquellas sino que en muchas ocasiones son las que las desarrollan e impulsan. Aun cuando el impacto en la productividad empresaria puede ser muy importante, debido a las nuevas formas de gestionar y estructurar los negocios sobre la base de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación, no es menos cierto que esto plantea un desafío para los gestores del futuro: armonizar la tendencia tecno-eficienticista con el cambio cultural que implica para las personas que integran esas empresas adaptarse a esas nuevas tecnologías, las que a su vez provocan profundos cambios las estructuras organizacionales.
