Aproximación a la política comunicativa del EMTUR. Análisis del sitio Web oficial de turismo de Mar del Plata

Abstract

La introducción de adelantos tecnológicos en el mundo de las comunicaciones ha posibilitado cambios trascendentales en los modos de acceso, procesamiento y transmisión de la información, posibilitando mejoras sustanciales en los procesos de comunicación y eliminando las barreras espaciotemporales. En este universo de las nuevas tecnologías de la información y la comunicación, el turismo encuentra un amplio abanico de oportunidades para mejorar los servicios y facilitar las acciones de difusión, contacto y promoción de los destinos; destacándose Internet como un elemento revolucionario y una herramienta imprescindible. Frente a este contexto mundial, se considera que un destino como Mar del Plata, reconocido a nivel internacional, debe asumir el desafío de renovarse constantemente y actualizar sus estrategias en función de las nuevas exigencias del turismo. Por ello, el presente artículo, tiene como objetivo analizar la estructura y el contenido del sitio Web institucional del EMTUR, ya que se reconoce en él una poderosa herramienta de comunicación.
