Un modelo propuesto del comportamiento del consumidor de bienes durables

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo es proponer un modelo de comportamiento del consumidor de bienes durables. El centro de análisis del modelo se ubica en el factor tiempo, constituyéndose este en una diferencia fundamental respecto de los enfoques tradicionales, que estudian la Teoría de la demanda microeconómica. Al mismo tiempo se avanza en el estudio de los micro fundamentos de los macro comportamientos referidos al Consumo de las Cuentas Nacionales, el cual se alza como el principal componente del Producto Bruto Interno (PBI) en la mayoría de los países. Se analiza la influencia del tipo de bienes consumidos y del tipo de consumidor a fin de determinar la tasa de interés aplicable en compras financiadas, a la vez que se vincula al modelo con conceptos propios del Marketing y de la Matemática Financiera.
