Recursos comerciales en centros urbanos

Abstract

El artículo analiza la relación entre comercio y turismo considerando las zonas comerciales como parte de la oferta turística, dentro de la categoría de recursos culturales. Los objetivos de la investigación se centraron en el análisis del potencial de la actividad comercial para contribuir con el proceso de desarrollo local; la realización de un diagnóstico sobre la actividad comercial en los centros objeto de estudio; y la propuesta de actuaciones tanto del sector público como privado. A partir del análisis de tipologías, se presentan las variables consideradas para su evaluación y se destaca la importancia de una gestión integral de estas zonas, a través de proyectos participativos. Finalmente se remarca la importancia de analizar los encadenamientos entre el comercio y los productores locales, a fin de favorecer la contribución del turismo al proceso de desarrollo local.
