Centralidades territoriales

Abstract

La condición de centralidad territorial le asigna a la ciudad importancia en la estructura regional al cumplir un doble rol polarizador de irradiación/atracción; dicha importancia se explica mediante indicadores claves tales como la relación rango-tamaño, la acción regionalizante del comercio, la irradiación cultural y científica, el dinamismo industrial multiplicador, la atracción financiera y la eficiencia de gestión. De este modo se convierten en componentes claves de la oferta urbana la base económica, el capital social, la calidad de vida, la accesibilidad, las comunicaciones, el apoyo público y su vocación de competitividad, complementariedad y asociatividad. Apelando al análisis de las condiciones de centralidad territorial y de rasgos de actualidad y potencialidad para la actividad turístico-recreacional de centro-entorno, se han seleccionado nueve centros urbanos del interior bonaerense susceptibles de constituir una red potencial turístico-recreacional.
