Abstract

El Centro de Investigaciones Turísticas comienza sus actividades en octubre de 1991 a partir de la designación, mediante concurso público de antecedentes y programa de actividades, de su Director y un lapso de diez años hace oportuno informar lo programado y actuado. El Centro es una unidad universitaria dedicada a la investigación pluridisciplinaria respecto de la problemática del uso del tiempo libre y sus múltiples dimensiones. Realiza estudios y presta asistencia técnica, a propósito de la comprensión, evaluación y solución de las situaciones y problemas relacionados al tiempo libre, el turismo y la recreación.
