Producto mercado de las urbanizaciones privadas en un destino turístico de la Araucanía Andina

Abstract

El presente artículo busca describir la diversidad de oferta de urbanizaciones privadas y el cambio en las modalidades de alojamiento en el post-turismo. El objetivo es caracterizar el producto-mercado de los barrios privados en Pucón, con el fin de proporcionar información sobre las características de estas viviendas y de las personas que las alquilan o las compran. El estudio se aplicó en Pucón, relevando 18 urbanizaciones privadas, con un enfoque exploratorio descriptivo, a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas. Como parte de las conclusiones se aprecian los cambios de comportamiento en la demanda turística en relación a sus preferencias de alojamiento turístico y a la estrecha vinculación que existe entre combinar estilos de vida, viajes e inversión.
