Capacidad de carga turística en área de humedales

Abstract

En la Reserva Provincial “Bahía Blanca, Bahía Falsa y Bahía Verde” del sudoeste bonaerense, se localiza Puerto Colonia, zona experimental destinada a la reconversión de usos para evaluar y recuperar el ecosistema de humedal. Por su patrimonio natural y cultural de relevancia, representa un paisaje nativo, que por décadas ha sufrido los efectos negativos de la explotación ganadera. Por lo tanto, la refuncionalización ecoturística mediante un sendero interpretativo, contribuye a su puesta en valor. El trabajo consiste en estimar la capacidad de carga turística del sendero, como herramienta preventiva frente a posibles efectos de la presión turística. Se realiza a partir de la metodología propuesta por Cifuentes (1999), adaptando los supuestos básicos y factores de corrección a los humedales costeros.
