La satisfacción laboral en empresas hoteleras. Apuntes metodológicos

Abstract

El análisis de la satisfacción laboral en un sector como el hotelero, caracterizado por el trato directo con el cliente, supone un elemento esencial en la gestión de recursos humanos debido a su incidencia en la calidad del servicio ofrecido. En este artículo se presenta unos apuntes metodológicos para el estudio de este constructo en la actividad hotelera, junto con un análisis empírico efectuado en la región de Andalucía (España), donde se diseña un modelo logit en el que se analizan las variables socioeconómicas que influyen en la probabilidad de que los empleados estén satisfechos con su puesto de trabajo. Se presentan algunos resultados del Proyecto de Investigación “La satisfacción laboral como factor de calidad en las empresas hoteleras de Andalucía”, financiado por la Consejería de Turismo, Comercio y Deporte de la Junta de Andalucía (España).
