Albert Schäffle And His Views On The State

Abstract

Тhis article is an attempt to present the views of Albert Shefle for the socio-economic reforms, the formation of a new social structure, socialism, in which significantly increased state intervention in economic life. This aspect is outlined on what is to make this change - the transformation of private property into collective. The process of transformation Albert Shefle sees as an evolution that is continuous one and is a result of the struggle between competing capitals. Also indicated are the reasons that he cited as reasons for the change of ownership and increased state participation in economic activity. It is also regarded the comprehensive feature that makes Shefle the new social structure. Socialism is not the limit of private property claims Shefle. Personal needs under socialism will be satisfied on the basis of private ownership, market-based and collective ownership will solve society's needs. In this economic system, the role of government is palpable. It should remain: first, freedom of choice; second, to organize economic activity based on statistical information by eliminating the anarchy of capitalist production; third, on improving the business of the society by transforming capitalist competition contest the labor fourth, build system just to stimulate private interest rewarding personal service to the public; fifth, to create conditions for increasing economic efficiency; six, destroy private monopolies; seventh, state to effect changes in the existing system of private credit, interest rent , which he defined as "a coup." The new system must combine the best of private initiative and the benefits of collective ownership. It is emphasized that outline the parameters of the new socio-economic system, Shefle laid the foundations of the theory of mixed economy.
