Abstract

This article discusses the possibility and the attempt to justify the view that school of Physiocrats in their theoretical developments exposes for the first time guidelines for the formation of the concept of mixed economy. It is shown that the elements of the mixed economy, in its theory, are not the result of a thorough analysis, but rather are the product of its desire for reform in French society. In an effort to make sense of forming a situation in which the old world is gone and the new one is not created, created by the Physiocrats methodological perspective a controversial model that attempts to connect the two worlds of feudal regulations and bourgeois liberalism. Perfectly formed to the market model eclectically added regulatory elements concerning agriculture, finance and investment. State intervention in the economic process is clearly highlighted. This has significantly changed the nature of the liberal model and gives rise to the conclusion that the pattern of the Physiocrats to organize a business, acquires the character of a mixed economy of statehood type.
