Comparative Analysis Of The Opportunities And Barriers Of Development Of Rural Tourisim In Chosen Countries

Abstract

In the recent ten years alternative tourism has gained great popularity in the countries in Eastern Europe. Bulgaria is an attractive tourist destination with various potential for tourist activity. The main focus of the present research is on comparative analysis of the opportunities and barriers of development of rural tourism in chosen regions in European countries, made on the base of inquiry in Bulgaria, Romania, Germany, Portugal, England and Spain. Analysis is aimed to estimate business climate, promotional politics of tourist enterprises and their opportunities for financing. For statistical analysis of the gathered data are used statistical program STATISTICA StatSoft and the procedures for analyzing of frequency tables.
