Abstract

The purpose of this work is to present the results from a study of the possibilities for the tourist business in the sphere of the alternative tourism on the territory of the National park “RILA” and on this base to deduce some of the problems and the managing decisions for its steady development. Inquiry customers’ data of the products of the alternative tourism on the territory of the park is analyzed, as well as the attitude of the local population to the tourist business in the region. On the base of these analyses are detached the main groups of problems araised out of the development of the alternative tourism – marketing problems; business training of the local population; financing of the activity; state and institutional support. Possible managing decisions are enunciated.
