Abstract

Based on concepts of the nature of intercultural management the presented article starts with the discussion of human resource management as a culture specific instrument representing both the national culture and the business culture of an enterprise. In particular, the analysis is focused on the scope of intercultural management regarding international managerial practices and the stages in its development. The role of intercultural management for overcoming conflicts is presented as well in order to reveal the inner connection between business efficiency and the ability for intercultural thinking. Last but not least, the advantages of intercultural management training have been discussed, where three methodological approaches are presented.
