Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the relationship between the components of intellectual capital and intrapreneurship. The data was collected using a sample of 123 university lecturers of the Faculty of Business, University of Djelfa, Algeria. The statistical program smart PLS4 was used to test the hypotheses using the partial structural equations modeling method. The results showed that intellectual capital, with its structural, human, and relational components, positively impacts intrapreneurship. This study encourages universities to give great importance to the components of intellectual capital, including human capital through continuous training and education, structural capital through modernizing organizational structures and making them flexible, and relational capital through improving relations with research lecturers. Also, the study recommended increasing attention to intellectual capital and managing it as it should because of its essential role in enhancing the intrapreneurship of the university.
