Abstract

Finishing touch Nature's series of papers on the finished sequences of human chromosomes continues with the analysis of chromosome 12, representing 4.5 of the genome. It hosts a number of genes mutated in specific cancers, movement disorders and, potentially, Alzheimer's disease.
