The proposed disaggregation by regionand aid forms of data from the Agency for Territorial Cohesion on the implementationof financial tools by 31 December 2018 enables to check the presence ofinnovative finance tools, also with reference to the Structural Funds. With respectto this field, some best practices implemented, centrally, from the Ministry of Universityand Research, and regionally, from two Regions of the Southern Italy, i.e.Apulia and Campania, are outlined. Finally, some remarks on the lines of policythat could strengthen the use of finance tools especially in the South, are made.
