Abstract

UNESCO's ARCHEOMEDSITES Project represents an important milestone in the consolidation and strengthening of the relationship between the Italian Ministry for cultural heritage and activities and for tourism with the Ministries of culture of Tunisia and Lebanon. With the activities carried out during the implementation of the project - dealing with the Unesco heritage sites of the three countries - the partnership shared the best ways to manage and enhance their cultural heritage by adhering to quality standards, and also by increasing the awareness of the richness of their heritage through the involvement of their civil societies.
