Abstract

This artiche provides a comparison between the results of two researches, carried out respectively in 2000 and 2003, and it offers the chance to reflect about the nature and the development of the relationship between the organizations which operate in the field of the performing arts and the new technology, especially Internet. It does not intend to provide criteria or guidelines to realise web sites, but to present an overview on the performing arts world and on the chances, given by Internet, to satisfy the customers and to create value. The specific features and ways of action identified aim to reflect the complexity of this scenario and to indicate possibile future developments.
