Following a period of decline, its revitalization – led by teachers and local associations – emphasized its key role in a culturally underserved area. Driven by innovative initiatives and supported by both public and private funding, the library’s growth embodies a model of 'culture of proximity' – expanding its physical spaces, digital access, and cultural offerings to better serve the community. It functions as a vital centre for promoting active citizenship, fostering literacy, and reducing socio-economic disparities.
