Abstract

This article presents a methodology and preliminary results of a study examining the factors influencing the adoption or rejection of cultural crowdfunding by arts and cultural institutions. Using a Norwegian museum consortium as a case study, the article employs a mixed methods approach to uncover these factors. The aim is to use the methodology for empirical research that lay the groundwork for advancing theoretical and managerial knowledge in this emerging field.
