Abstract

During the summer of the first 2020 Covid pandemic, research initiative «Culture and Health: Towards a New Cultural Welfare» brought to light a rich and diverse heritage of intersectoral projects, specifically focusing on the intersection of Culture and Health in northwestern Italy. This triggered discussions on the skills and professions within the realm of cultural welfare. In response, CCW-Cultural Welfare Center launched CCW School in 2021, with a focus on enhancing competencies for cultural welfare professionals. The Executive Master in Culture and Health, initiated in 2021 and reissued for the second edition in autumn 2023, is a training program designed to cultivate interdisciplinary perspectives, competencies, and skills. It aims to nurture participation and cultural expression as resources for promoting individual and collective well-being. This innovative experience underscores the integration of collective intelligence and visions, emphasizing the importance of fostering the intersection of specialized knowledge and expertise in addressing major societal challenges.
