«Fixed place»: a project for new methodological perspectives in the relationship between arts and fragility

Abstract

How can a museum become an agora in which to build new relationships between adults and elderly people in situations of well-being and autonomy and adults and elderly diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or from marginalized contexts? «Fixed Place», the project whose partners were GAMeC (Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery) of Bergamo, the Opera Bonomelli Foundation and Namasté Cooperativa Sociale, is a useful palimpsest for analyzing the strong, repeatable points of initiatives that intertwine professions and cultural settings and social, as well as highlighting delicate balances and fragility, but also the potential to be pursued. This is aimed to make a vision rooted that places cultural welfare at the heart of its own shared planning and, for this reason, more effective
