Abstract

This article illustrates the main results of the survey which involved employees, collaborators and consultants of the beneficiaries or applicants for a financial contribution at the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation and consultants who collaborate or have collaborated directly with the Foundation itself. With over 780 workers involved, the survey gives back an accurate picture of the professions that populate the cultural world in the area of action of the Foundation (the Italian regions Piemonte, Liguria and Valle d’Aosta), describing their characteristics, working conditions and future prospects. The survey, on the one hand confirm the results deriving from other studies and research on the labor market in the cultural sector, on the other they propose new and particular food for thought
