Abstract

The paper deals with Landscape Observatories as tools for the implementation of the European Landscape Convention, and with a specific area of their activities, the educational one. After a general introduction about the origin and purposes of these Observatories, the educational project «In20amo il paesaggio» («Let’s invent the landscape») is presented, active in secondary schools of the Veneto region since 2020. The main purpose of this project is to promote awareness of the complexity of the issues concerning landscapes and at the same time of the potential of the care actions that can be concretely promoted.
