The performing arts sector in the European funds

Abstract

The European Union has funded projects related to the performing arts for more than 20 years. In the last programming period of the European Union (2014-2020) more than half of the projects (351 out of the total 618) were connected directly or indirectly to the performing art sector. In these funded projects there are excellent examples managed by cultural Italian organizations. This support from the European Union will continue in the Creative Europe program (2021-2027) that was launched this year, with the first call having closed in September 2021
