Abstract

Three years have passed since the conclusion of the 2018 EYCH, which aim was to encourage more people to discover and engage with Europe’s cultural heritage, and to reinforce a sense of belonging to a common European Cultural Heritage. Italian Ministry of Culture, in partnership with Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali, appointed Associazione per l’Economia della Cultura to carry out a study on impacts generated by more than 1.600 events and projects realized, aimed to achieve one or more of the objectives of the EYCH, as endorsed by the European Parliament in Decision (UE) 2017/864, In this article, the first phase of the study is illustrated, resulting in a Register of projects submitted, labelled and/or financed by the Ministry. The Register provides information about many aspects of the projects submitted (nature of public social and cultural applicant subjects, their geographical distribution even in municipal districts, goals, forms, duration of approved event, performance, ecc.).
