Abstract

Questo articolo analizza l'esperienza italiana con la ristrutturazione e regolazione dei settori a rete. La privatizzazione è solo parziale e difficilmente sarà completata; lo Stato mantiene il controllo della gran parte delle imprese di questi settori, che stanno espandendo la loro presenza all'estero. La performance di questi processi dal punto di vista dei consumatori è stata positiva soprattutto ove la regolazione è gestita da un'autorità indipendente. Purtroppo, invece, si hanno continui tentativi di espandere il controllo politico sui processi regolatori.
