ITA Airways e le «nozze» con Lufthansa: via col vento (ovvero il canto dell’odio)?

Abstract

Il contributo ripercorre criticamente gli ultimi anni della storia di Alitalia e la nascita di ITA Airways. In tale prospettiva, viene analizzata la lunga e complessa fase che ha portato all’operatività di ITA, nonché la difficile transizione (di sistema) tra le due società, valorizzando il ruolo di tutti gli attori a vario titolo coinvolti: i governi, la Commissione europea e i vertici aziendali. Inoltre, il contributo si sofferma sul tortuoso processo volto a dotare Ita di un partner per competere efficacemente nel mercato: vengono a tal riguardo ricostruite criticamente le procedure che hanno visto cordate diverse interessate a entrare nella compagine sociale del vettore italiano, le condizioni offerte, il ruolo (prospettico) del Governo italiano e le prospettive industriali di ITA. Infine, viene analizzata la decisione della Commissione europea, giunta al termine di un acceso negoziato, con la quale si è accordata l’autorizzazione all’ingresso nel capitale sociale del vettore italiano da parte di Lufthansa. C’è davvero da festeggiare?
