Abstract

On January the 26th 2002 at Ancona the Faculty of Economics was dedicated to Giorgio Fuà (1919-2000) professor of Politics and Economics at the University of Ancona (1959-1996) founder of the Faculty of Economics and ISTAO. The moving ceremony was attended by many important personalities of the academic, economic, political world and of a great number of his formal students. All were there to prove how much of the scholar but even more of the man is still in their minds and in their hearts. Giorgio Fuà was a forerunner in economic analysis of the contemporary economic society and tireless leader of team-research and unforgettable teacher and tutor for all his students.
