Abstract

This study attempts to indicate the economic implications of the Fethullah?? Terrorist Organization and the Parallel State Constitution (FETO / PDY) on the Turkish economy. Until the July 15 coup attempt, it seems unlikely that the effects on the economy will be revealed, given the fact that the organization behaves secretly and tactfully. Therefore, only the effects of the July 15 coup attempt on major variables in both the financial sector (daily exchange rate and interest rate) and the reel sector (production, capital movement, current account deficit and employment) can be analyzed in a descriptive method. The strong policy impact of the country's president and politicians, the police, the military, the bureaucracy, the business community, the political parties and the people's integration into the coup attempt has led to the least possible uncertainty of the coup attempt in the economy, resulting in a lasting and limited impact.
